I manage Windows endpoints and the hardware they run on. Most of that experience comes from POS and retail environments. Lately that's meant building system images for new POS terminals before they ship out to a store.
New POS hardware doesn't always play nice with the image you built for the old model. That's the kind of thing I like digging into. Half the time a troubleshooting problem isn't even in Windows, it's a loose cable or bad firmware.

The title says POS Administrator. The actual job is Windows endpoint management and enterprise IT, with POS as one piece of it.
- Led a Disaster Recovery initiative keeping POS payments (cash, credit, debit) and SAP running fully offline during head-office outages, with automated recovery that cut down manual work during restores
- Scripted deployment of NCR's LeanReceipt tool and adapted it for both POS and self-checkout receipt printers, cutting receipt paper usage 30%+. Later rolled out to Dollarcity (Dollarama's Latin America division) alongside Canada
