    Point of Sale Administrator

    The title says POS Administrator. The actual job is Windows endpoint management and enterprise IT, with POS as one piece of it.

    • Led a Disaster Recovery initiative keeping POS payments (cash, credit, debit) and SAP running fully offline during head-office outages, with automated recovery that cut down manual work during restores
    • Built LeanReceipt, cutting receipt paper usage 30%+. Later rolled out to Dollarcity (Dollarama's Latin America division) alongside Canada
    • Administering and supporting POS environments
    • Developing new Windows/POS system images
    • Testing new POS hardware and validating compatibility
    • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    • Enterprise endpoint deployment via SCCM
    • Windows administration and Active Directory

    Built a bilingual company site and an internal recruitment portal from scratch, while keeping the old WordPress site running in the meantime.

    • Building the company website frontend from scratch in React, with English/French bilingual support for the Quebec market
    • Deploying the site on Cloudflare
    • Building the frontend for an internal portal used to manage a database of foreign workers, for recruitment and immigration purposes
    • Maintaining the existing WordPress site while the new one was still in development
    • Migrating the underlying database to a new Node.js-based system
  4. Novyi Rozdil City Hospital

    Computer Systems and Networks Engineer

    Lviv, Ukraine

    Ran the hospital's two-person IT department and built its computer systems from scratch, including the rollout of Ukraine's national e-Health system.

    • Building the hospital's computer systems from scratch, including equipment selection, vendor negotiation, and the ordering and installation
    • Leading the hospital's integration with Ukraine's national e-Health system (ESOZ), part of a government healthcare digitization reform
    • Migrating hospital systems from eDoctor to Helsi
    • Training and supporting medical staff and doctors on new systems, including the e-Health rollout
    • Handling roughly 10-15 support tickets a day, mostly troubleshooting
    • Installing and supporting specialized medical equipment, including X-ray machines
